Sting
This sword used by Bilbo Baggins first got it's name in the woods after Bilbo killed a giant spider with it. It got its name when he thought that this creature must not be used to it's prey carrying stings at their sides. Later on he then used it to free the dwarves from the spiders web and fend off the spiders who came charging after them as they escaped.Sting turns blue when Orcs are near. Bilbo also found this sword in the cave where the Glamdring and the Orcrist were found. Though it was used to kill many Orcs, the Sting does not scare them near as much as the other two swords carried by the group. This is not a very large sword, as Bilbo is able to wield it with great ease. He first uses the sting when he kills the spiders in the forest.
